Guest artist Jason Shafer partners with HCC faculty member Kuei-I Wu
for a recital full of a wide variety of colorful music. The centerpiece Brahms
sonata is one of the composer's final works, and contains some of his most
sublime and emotional music. With the depth of Brahms, ethereal world
of Debussy, and jazzy Gershwin, this evening of music has something for
everyone. The performance ends with an exciting collaboration with
Jason's former clarinet teacher, HCC faculty member Kyle Coughlin.
