Take an English for Careers class in computer skills, health care, cybersecurity, construction, CDL, or bookkeeping 52 Earn your Professional English Certificate as you improve your English for the workplace by completing three Professional English courses within 18 months. 53 Become a certified Health Care Interpreter to help patients with limited English proficiency communicate with health care providers. Our courses offer online study tools, professional networking, and instructors who are seasoned and certified. If you are working in health care or information technology (IT) and seeking a career in Health IT, then check out our new courses designed in collaboration with the Howard Tech Council and the Howard County Economic Development Authority. What's Inside When Alex was studying English in the English Institute (EI) program, he was selected for HCC's first Maryland Innovative Education and Skills Training (MI-BEST)/ A+ Preparation program, which helped him prepare for the A+ certification exams.
