Teams will learn the basics of engineering and simple machines. You will be introduced to the concepts of pulleys, levers, gears, and more. From this foun - dation, you will move on to compound machines, motorized vehicles, and robotic creations. Put your new knowledge to work, creating your own mechanized designs. Teams will creatively solve challenges using concepts learned in class. Last, but not least, you will get the chance to become inventors. Light and sound sensors, pulleys, wheels, levers, and gears are all at your command. Ecology is a branch of biology that deals with the relationships of organisms to one another and their physical surroundings. E-cool-ogy will let you apply scientific methods to create and analyze animal habitats, research food webs in biomes, and understand the impact of recycling in your community. Whether you want to be the next pro gamer, streamer, or gamecaster, this course will teach you the basics to get started! No longer just a hobby, eSports is the fastest growing career for the next generation. Over 400 million people watched YouTube videos and Twitch streams of video game competitions this year alone! In this course, you will develop competitive game-play skills in Black Rocket's new eSports app, learn how to produce commentary for live tournaments, use professional streaming soware, and most importantly practice online safety. You will gain full access to the eSports App and a video of your class tournament with commentary. Videos will not be broadcast publicly, but will be shared with all students in the class.
