Interested in Becoming a Medical Assistant? Java Programming Ages 12+. Java is an object-oriented computer programming language that has been among the most popular languages for a variety of online applications and mobile devices for decades. is course introduces the Java programming language using an objects-first approach. Using programming design tools such as variables, methods, control structures, and classes, you will learn to create simple applications such as a financial calculator and a card game simulator. Learn programming tools so powerful they seem like magic! Start off by learning an array of core programming concepts with JavaScript by experimenting in a series of digital challenges. Start with programming your first animated memes, then tackle more advanced skills such as interactive 3-D experiences and game creation. Projects will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. You will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. The three-month hybrid program is designed to prepare competent entry- level medical assistants in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains. This program concentrates on helping you acquire knowledge and develop skills in performing laboratory, clinical, and medical office procedures in a physician's office or ambulatory care clinic. This course includes an online component as well as mandatory skills/lab sessions, and an extensive practical internship.
