He has worked at Howard Community College for 30 years and has been a Kids on Campus instructor for 20 years. He became the first full-time faculty for HCC's computer aided drafting and design program in 1992. He regularly works on special projects for HCC including creating a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) map of the college. Other projects include creating a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) program for roller skating, and a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math (STEAM) program for bowling and roller skating, which is currently being used at a local skating facility. He has worked for a number of engineering firms and architects as well as a management position for a large defense contractor in northern Virginia. He is currently working with MCCEI and the Maryland State Department of Education to redesign and develop a Construction Design & Management Program for MD high schools.
