Sometimes everyday makeup is not enough; you need special effects to design your own magnificent image. You will learn and practice the art of makeup application using proper placement, coloration, and blending to create realistic effects. e final project will be captured in a portfolio-building photo shoot. Currently, she is co-owner of a freelance makeup company, Blend Makeup Artistry, which has served the MD/DC/VA areas for nearly 10 years. Somewhere along her glittery make-up trail, Ms. Ibrahim came across the crazy world of lip art. Similar to nail art, lip art is exactly what it sounds like–art, designs, or drawings painted on the lips. Ryan's work has been featured in a vast array of media outlets, from articles in Time, Teen Vogue and Seventeen magazines, to viral blog posts on Buzzfeed and Daily Mail. In 2016, she officially became a CoverGirl when she partnered with the brand on a national Halloween campaign. Most recently, she was a guest on day-time talk show, Pickler & Ben and has caught the attention of celebrities like Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum. Acquire experience to become an informed investor in this interactive course that introduces you to today's stock market. Learn how to research a company prior to making a stock purchase and invest $100,000 (fictional) in six to 10 publicly traded companies. You will measure and calculate percent gains and losses throughout the week. is class also familiarizes you with other financial investing topics such as opening a bank account, participating in Dividend Reinvestment Plans (DRIPs), graphing financial data, evaluating a stock's price/earnings ratio, and using 529 Saving Plans for educational expenses. You will stay current about the stock market, economy, and companies by reading, summarizing, and presenting information from relevant news articles and press releases.
