3-D Game Design With Unity Ages 8–10. Are you ready to take your game design skills to another level? With Unity, an industry grade design soware, aspiring game designers will learn level editing, 3-D modeling, intermediate event scripting, and the impact of game play on user experience. Student-created games will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. You will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. Explore techniques in acrylic painting as you learn about color relationships, creating texture, and adding shadows and highlights. Subjects for paintings will come from your close observation and your own imagination. Work with canvas and create finished works that will be ready to hang or offer as gis. 1 week $215 (includes $85 in fees*) l Mon–Fri 8:30 a.m.–12 p.m., Jul 18–22, XKE-225 1096 #0428 Advanced Robotics NEW! Ages 8–10. Create a basic artificial intelligence (AI) to program a robot using visual and text-based code. Utilize a variety of sensors that help your robot navigate and overcome daily class challenges. With your teammates, apply different coding concepts while using the scientific method to formulate, observe, experiment, test, and modify your robot. You will work in teams for most of the program. No prior experience is required.
