Discovering our ancestors and creating a family tree is a
fascinating experience. Tracing our "musical family tree" can
be just as interesting and educational, too. Kyle Coughlin has
researched the lineage between his teachers and the musicians
with whom they studied, covering over 200 years of musical
history with connections that include Mendelssohn, Brahms,
Debussy, Bernstein, and more.
