Octtava Piano Duo Concert – Love, Jealousy, and Rivalry Sunday, March 22, 4:00 pm Hsien-Ann Meng, Piano / Wei-Der Huang, Piano Monteabaro Recital Hall In this love and death inspired program, the Octtava Piano Duo will perform arrangements of Stravinsky's Petrushka and Bernstein's West Side Story for two-piano. Musical Ancestry Saturday, April 11, 7:30 pm Kyle Coughlin, Clarinet / Kuei-I Wu, Piano Monteabaro Recital Hall Discovering our ancestors and creating a family tree is a fascinating experience. Tracing our "musical family tree" can be just as interesting and educational, too. Kyle Coughlin has researched the lineage between his teachers and the musicians with whom they studied, covering over 200 years of musical history with connections that include Mendelssohn, Brahms, Debussy, Bernstein, and more.
