Two of the most commonly used photo-editing programs are Adobe's Photoshop Elements and the open-source program known as GIMP. is class will expose students to both programs. You will learn how to use all of the tools in each program. You will be given over 200 images on a flash drive as well as specific instruction on how to modify each image. At the end of the week, you will be shown how to download GIMP, so that you can continue to perfect the skills that you learned during the course. Parental permission for you to access the internet is required. Paint and accent flowers, cover a cake with buttercream icing and fondant, assemble dried flowers onto your cake and finish your cake with buttercream skills learned in the Fun With Frosting class. You will need to provide an un-iced cake layer on the fourth day of class. A supply list will be sent to each student before the class begins.
