Graduation and Commencement howardcc.edu/graduate e deadline to apply for summer graduation is June 15; apply by April 15 to participate in Commencement for students with up to two summer classes remaining. Get all of the information you need to apply to graduate at howardcc.edu/graduate. Contact graduate@ howardcc.edu if you have questions or need help. Student Records Privacy and Updates e Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) allows HCC to release student directory information. Directory information includes name, photographs, high school attended, areas of study, enrollment dates, degrees, honors and awards or lack thereof, participation in officially recognized college activities, and sports and athletic team members' weight and height. To restrict HCC from disclosing this information, make a request to the Office of Records, Registration, & Veterans' Affairs (RCF-233) in writing via letter or from your HCC email. Students are responsible for any and all actions taken on their student records; this includes updating contact information, registering for classes, submitting coursework, and making payment arrangements. All changes to the student record must be done in writing or through myHCC. Students are not permitted to share their usernames or passwords to college-assigned accounts with anyone to ensure their identity remains both protected and authenticated. Get your official HCC transcript Need your official HCC transcript? • Login to myHCC • Select "My Official Transcript" on the myHCC homepage • Send your transcript to anyone, anywhere via email (you can also request a mailed paper transcript too) • Got an attachment? Upload to be included in your request! • $2.50 fee/transcript for this expedited service What Every HCC Student Needs to Know HCC Email Your HCC email address is the only one used by the college for email communication. Visit howardcc.edu/helpdesk for information on how to access and set up your email on your smartphone. Choose the forward and delete function to send your HCC email to an external email you frequently check. Self-Service Use Self-Service to plan your area of study, register for credit classes, view course progress, pay your bill, view your financial aid status and awards, and view and print your unofficial transcript. myHCC Use myHCC to view tuition refund and withdraw deadlines, access Self-Service, and order an official transcript. Mobile Alert System HCC's Mobile Alert system enables you to receive instant notification of important campus information and emergency announcements. Final Exams howardcc.edu/finals Faculty will confirm the final exam schedule with each class during the first week of the term. Scheduling conflicts should be brought to the instructor's attention during the first week of classes.
