We are Maryland's only school fo- cused on lifelong learning. Choose the leader– Choose The Rider School Motorcycle classes are offered March through November and can be completed in one to four days. To find out everything you need to know – and to register – visit riderschool.org. Be sure to read the other important information on the website. For registration information, visit riderschool.org and select "Register" on the top le. License-Earning Courses Successfully completing one of these classes qualifies you for a Maryland Motorcycle (Class M) License. Course content is approved by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) and meets or exceeds Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) standards. Motorcycles are provided. NOTE: Riding is not for everyone and some participants will not successfully complete the course. MVA rules require that students who do not achieve minimum performance standards cannot continue. ere are no refunds. Classes are held rain or shine. Basic Rider Course (BRC) is is the traditional beginner course consisting of two evenings of classroom and two days of riding. If you are new to riding, this is probably the course you want. To pick your class day and time, visit riderschool.org and click on "Class Schedule." $345 (course fees total $290) MOTORCYCLE SAFETY e Basic Rider Course (BRC) and the Absolute Begin- ner Basic Rider Course (ABC) require the completion of a three-hour online component before class meets. Students will be required to bring proof of completion to class. Students must provide a valid email address at time of registration in order to receive instructions to access the online module. If you do not receive instructions one week before your class starts, please call 443-518-4808. Students may arrange for access to HCC computer labs, if needed, to complete this portion.
