"The building is an investment in our future and in future
generations of students."
County Executive Allan Kittleman added, "There is
no question that Howard Community College is a gem of
Howard County."
The new building will enhance that reputation with a
cyber security lab, engineering build room, and digital
fabrication/3D printing lab. Students also will benefit from
a greenhouse, rooftop observation area, and a drop zone for
testing physics experiments.
The building will be adjacent to the Health Sciences Building
and The Rouse Company Foundation Student Services Hall.
