the question "If chaos is complete disorder and music is organized sound, how
can there be chaotic music?" with compositions that either foreshadowed or
followed chaotic events. More explorations of the Chaos theme uncovers early
American and British Banjo repertoire in "Chaos on 5 Strings – The Art of the
Breakdown" and unearth the chaotic elements in love and relationship in
"A Woman's Life and Loves, Yesterday and Today." We invite you to browse
through the brochure to find more programs on this theme.
We are pleased to bring back The U. S. Navy Commodores Jazz Ensemble and
the U. S. Marine Chamber Orchestra as well as another partnership concert
with the Howard County Concert Orchestra. Additionally, don't miss the HCC
Student Ensemble and Spotlight Concerts, and the Music Institute performances
each semester.
We hope you will find our programs interesting and inspiring. We thank you for
your friendship and support, and we look forward to seeing you at our concerts!
