For all registration options, please provide student information, not parent. Check our website howardcc.edu/kidsoncampus for any changes. Registration form and consent form must be completed and accompanied by payment. Parents/ guardians are financially responsible for the child's tuition payment to HCC. Students will be dropped for non-payment. Registration opens February 7, 2017. Visit our website at howardcc.edu/kidsoncampus for class availability and updates. You may register online, in-person, mail, or fax. ONLINE REGISTRATION–Visit howardcc.edu and click on "HCC Express." If you are a returning student, you will need your student ID number to register for classes. Returning students and new in-county students should register as a "Noncredit/Continuing Education" student. IN-PERSON REGISTRATION–Come to the College's Records Office, located in RCF 233, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia: 8:45am-7pm Monday-Thursday AND 8:45am-5pm Friday. BY MAIL OR FAX–Use the form in this brochure, enclose credit card information for AMEX, Discover, VISA, or MasterCard, or a check payable to Howard Community College and mail to: Howard Community College, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, MD 21044-3197, ATTN: Lock Box Cashier RCF 203. Or fax to 443-518-4333. You must submit a consent form before the class starts, or your child will be dropped from the class. The consent form can be found in this brochure. You may fax the consent form to 443-518- 4333 or you may mail it to: KOC Coordinator, Division of Continuing Education, Howard Community College, 10650 Hickory Ridge Road, Columbia, MD 21044. You may also submit a consent form electronically when you register online using HCC Express. Online forms can be found on the Kids on Campus registration web page. BEHAVIOR–As students enjoy their summer classes, they need to remember that college is in session and administrative offices are open for business. Students are expected to demonstrate appropriate behavior and language and follow HCC, KOC, and class rules. Students are expected to: • Behave in a friendly, cooperative manner toward other students, instructors, and staff. • Respect the ideas, person, and property of others. • Be able to work independently. • Be able to focus on a task to completion. Students may be excluded from activities or dismissed from Kids of Campus for not adhering to the behavior expectations explained above or: • Leaving assigned area unaccompanied by a staff member. • Stealing or vandalizing college property or the property of others. • Bullying. • Using profanity. • Eating or drinking in computer labs. • Jeopardizing the safety of oneself or others. • Disrupting the learning environment. BROCHURES AND QUESTIONS–For brochures, call 443-518-4110 between 8:30am-4:30pm. CANCELLATIONS–Please register early. Class size is limited. Courses with insufficient enrollment one week prior to the start of each class session will be canceled. You will be notified by phone or email if a class is canceled. DROP OFF–Students should be dropped off at the Hickory Ridge building no earlier than 10 min- utes prior to the start of the class. Classroom assignments will be posted at the Hickory Ridge building. Unsupervised students arriving early will be registered for and sent to Before Care. A fee will be charged. Students changing building locations during the day will be escorted by KOC staff. DROPS AND REFUNDS–If it will be impossible for your child to attend a course, please notify us immediately.
